Hydrological situation

The hydrological situation is good. Most of the dams in the different regions (Sahel, Center-North) are in the process of discharging. For the other water points in the country, the filling level is satisfactory. The dams of the Lillougou and Yaongo (Namentenga) and Lalgaye (Koulpélogo) dams gave way following the torrential rains recorded during the month of June. Similarly, damage is observed on the dikes of some dams: these are the Dargo (in the Center-North), Sourgou (Center-West), Satenga and Zenré (East region) dams. , from Gazandouré (Center-East).
