The Food Security Information System (SISA) action plan is a joint initiative of the Government and Technical and Financial Partners to strengthen and develop the structures that will supply the Food Security Information System.
The vocation of the Food Security Information System is to provide the Government with reliable and relevant information on the basis of which political and technical decisions can be based within the framework of the National Food Security Strategy (SNSA).
The National Coordination of the Food Security Information System (CN-SISA) is an instrument of coordination, animation, facilitation between the systems on the one hand and the actors involved in food security on the other hand.
To give substance to the challenges set by the Food Security Information System action plan, the National Coordination of the Food Security Information System (CN-SISA) has an animation unit whose role is to mandate to boost the following four coordination instruments:

  •  the technical forum,
  • the information center,
  • early warning (CAP),
  • structural analysis (CAS).
