5 December 2017, Rome – In a meeting today on the sidelines of the 158th Session of the Organization’s Council, FAO Director-General and Jacob Ouédraogo, Minister for Agriculture and Water Development of Burkina Faso, discussed the need to develop a programme to better tackle the spread of the Fall armyworm in Africa, more specifically in Burkina Faso.
